Phase 2 Meetings Overview

  • The new, Phase 2 Meetings schedule will begin on Sunday, October 11th.
    • Wards will continue to meet at their assigned times.
  • Meetings will follow the regular two-hour block:
    • 35-40-minute Sacrament Meeting with speakers.
      • Special musical numbers are optional and at the discretion of the bishop.
    • In person, Sacrament Meeting attendance is limited to 150 attendees.
      • Wards needing to split into 2 groups will have members alternating every other week of physically or virtually attending Sacrament meetings.
    • All members are invited to attend if they follow physical distancing guidelines.
      • Those not recommended to attend due to health reasons will be encouraged to remain home, stay safe and worship virtually.
    • Those without priesthood authority in the home to administer the Sacrament, yet with the health and desire to meet in person, will be invited to attend every week.
    • A virtual technology (zoom, YouTube, meetinghouse webcast) will be used to broadcast the meeting live to those not in attendance using cameras installed in chapels or phones mounted to the podium.
    • At the conclusion of the meeting, the broadcast will end. Those physically in attendance will participate in the administration of the Sacrament. (20 minutes)
      • Sacrament Meeting will follow the same guidelines/precautions now in place including spacing families out, leaving a row empty, using additional trays, sanitizing, masks, etc.
    • Following the meeting and administration of the Sacrament (60 minutes combined total), we will have a 30 minute break to allow individuals and families to return home and virtually join the second hour meetings.
      • The building will be cleaned and sanitized by the ward beginning a new meeting so those leaving can get home quickly for their virtual second hour classes.
    • The final portion of the block (40 minutes) will follow the pattern of youth or adult meetings regularly scheduled and will be delivered virtually via virtual streaming.
