To Share your Screen with Participants
- Click Share Screen or on devices tap Share Content
- If you are on a Mac you will need to allow Zoom to share your screen. After clicking on Share Screen go to the Apple in the top left and click on it. Then System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording and make sure that zoom.us is checked. You might need to click on the lock in the bottom left before it can be checked.
- You will be presented with options of what to share. It is best to only share the window that needs to be shared and not your whole screen. Select your option and then click Share.
- If you plan on sharing audio or video make sure to click the 2 options at the bottom before clicking on Share.
- Once your screen is shared you will now see a green and red tab at the top middle of your screen. If you push your mouse over it you will see a drop down with more options.
- There are 2 important things from this drop down. First is the Stop Share to stop sharing your screen. Next is to Disable Annotation for Others. This is important as sometimes people will try and write on the screen while you present which all participants in the meeting can see.
- Once the meeting is over you can end it by clicking on End in the bottom right. You will then be presented with End Meeting for All (Removes everyone from meeting) or Leave Meeting (Which will leave the meeting participants in the room until the time runs out)
